Schedule a consultation with RyanBefore entering the mental health field, Ryan spent more than two decades in software consulting and business leadership. That history shows up in the work: he is comfortable with people whose stress is bound up with responsibility, performance, and the roles they carry.
Ryan works with men navigating burnout and emotional shutdown, professionals in career transition, fathers trying to hold work and family at the same time, and families caught in patterns of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding. His approach is steady, collaborative, and systems-focused — he draws on parts work, existential reflection on meaning and identity, and systems-based relational therapy. Walking and golf sessions are available for clients who think better while moving.
In family work, Ryan does not treat one person as the problem. Sessions focus on communication, repairing conflict, emotional regulation, boundaries, parenting dynamics, and rebuilding trust after distance.
Ryan sees clients from age 5 through adulthood, in person in San Clemente and by telehealth anywhere in California. He is a father of four.
Ryan might be a good fit if…
- You're experiencing burnout, feeling stuck, or overwhelmed
- You're navigating fatherhood, relationship stress, or a career transition
- You want a practical, thoughtful approach to understanding your patterns
